HSV Pickleball Club, located in Hot Springs Village, AR, is a 250+ member strong (and growing) organization devoted to promoting, enjoying and teaching the USA's #1 growing court sport Pickleball!

As with every project I work on, I start with a blank page and a mind full of ideas. But in the world of graphic design and branding, you can't just do anything that pops into your head. I take into full consideration what is currently out there in the market, what has been done, what works, what doesn't and also what the client needs and wants. At the end of this process, if I have done my job correctly, is a brand or logo that the client loves, doesn't step on anyone's toes and is unique for the client in every way. 

The client is ecstatic and loves the new logo. It had to go through an arduous committee approval process, some biases from previous and current members wanting family members or friend's designs to be considered, and it won out in the end! A good idea is everything and this one works for their needs. Hot Springs Village is the largest gated community in Arkansas and is primarily occupied by retirees. They love their pickleball there and just had 14 brand new cushioned courts built to help promote their membership and enjoyment of play. HSV boasts 5 lakes in a rolling hillside of the Ouachita mountains just north of Hot Springs National Park. I felt this logo played upon their environment, added with bold and inspiring colors with a iconography that will not permit this design from being confused as to what it is for!
