Little Rock Kid’s Directory

In January of 1999, a month after I was laid off from CJRW (a local ad agency), a lead from a former co-worker led me to my first meeting with the Kid’s Directory. Several hours later, I was assembling what would become my first full-time freelance opportunity and the beginning of working for myself.

Over the next 15 years, 8 of which were on-staff as creative director, I helped Kid’s Directory grow from a small 28 page 2-color publication to a full-color, sometimes as large as 116 pages.

During those years, I developed every design and logo for each of the, many, featured sections and listings, events and promotions. Including developing a website in 2006.

Since leaving to start my own company again in 2014, I have continued to handle the Kid’s Directory’s website and internet needs.

The site was originally a simple, two layout, non-responsive design, as was popular in the past. But I converted them to a fully responsive and streamlined website in January of 2018.

I continue to work with them monthly via the website maintenance program that I offer.

“If you are looking for a talented and dependable graphic designer, then you should contact Patrick. I worked with him at Kid’s Directory and not only was he able to create new and unique ads for multiple clients each month, but he always did it in a timely manner. I highly recommend him to anyone.”
