Miss Selma’s School

Thanks to the referral of another wonderful client of mine, Robin Smith contacted me to help them design a new website. Along the way during our initial discovery meetings, they decided that a new logo was in order. It was time to retire the older, hand-drawn, look and wanted something that would take them into the future, also something that the elementary boys didn’t mind having on their uniforms! :)

I designed 6 logos to show them, out of which they immediately chose “the one”. They love it and it embodies the strong, stable personality that the school pride’s itself on.

The website is large and complex but my hopes were to make it feel easy and fresh. Visitors to the site have access to vast amounts of information throughout the site, the client has the ability to make many changes throughout as well. Photo galleries, calendar entries and newsletters keep their content fresh.

I’ve assisted them with more than just branding and web, we’ve worked on their uniforms, printed materials and I even refurbished more than 27 Apple iMac computers they weren’t using due to upgrade issues!

I love working with them, they are family! The daughter of one of my contacts there is a client, too! Beyond Speech contacted me before they knew I did their Mother’s school site, but they hired me after finding out I did!
I continue to work with them monthly via the website maintenance program that I offer and look forward to our next project!

“Patrick is a master at his skill. He made everything seem so easy. He is extremely talented and always open to new ideas. He listened then created and made our vision come true. We love the final product.”
